The Association for the Promotion of Timișoara, in partnership with the employers’ association HORETIM and with the support of Iulius Town and PEJ Travel, organized, between January 27 and 30, 2023, a documentary visit to Timișoara to present the tourist and cultural potential of the city and, partially, of Timis county.

The info trip was attended by representatives of 21 travel agencies specialized in welcoming foreign tourists to Romania.

We visited and got to know the city and its museums, discovered its history, admiring the multiculturalism and harmony of the 23 minorities present in the city’s life. Furthermore, the local members of the travel industry welcomed us with warmth and professionalism in restaurants and hotels of all categories, accessible and prepared for all categories of tourists. In addition, we learned how to promote and “sell” better and more to our external partners the tourism programs that make Timișoara known to external markets.

The incoming tour operators represented the tourism associations involved in this activity: the Incoming Romania Association – AIR, the Romanian Eco-Tourism Association – AER, and the National Association of Tourism Agencies – ANAT.
